Energy Performance Certificates

Domestic Energy Performance Certificates

domestic_epc.jpg OriginalWhen a property is sold or let it requires an Energy Performance Certificate. We visit the property, measure the area, look at the building construction and types of insulation in areas such as walls, floors, roofs, windows and doors. We also look at the heating system, the efficiency of the heating system, the heating control system and hot water control system. This information is then used to calculate the Energy Performance of the property using RDSAP software, including recommendations for improvement. Our surveyor is fully licensed to carry our surveys and issue Energy Performance Certificates with full professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance cover.

Commercial Energy Performance Certificate

commercial_epc.jpg OriginalAnyone selling or letting commercial premises require a Non-Domestic Energy Performance Certificate and Recommendation Report. Owing to the complexity and sizes of commercial buildings information about the building is required before a quotation can be given. On acceptance of the quotation our Surveyor will visit the property and gather all the data that is necessary to enable him to calculate the Energy Performance of the building. This information is modelled in an SBEM computer programme. Our surveyor is fully licensed to carry out this service with full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance cover.
